The Asylum Protection Centre (APC) offers pro bono legal aid for refugees and failed asylum seekers in Serbia. APC works in reception centres for foreigners, asylum centres, centres for foreign minors and in their office.

Failed asylum seekers who had experience with torture and ill-treatment, who are deported to Serbia, are provided with comprehensive rehabilitation services including psychological, psychiatric, medical, legal and educational support on arrival in Serbia. Even if they are not torture victims, the IAN Centre can provide them free of charge psychological support (counselling and psychotherapy) for those in this kind of need. We have Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and English speakers.

The NGO Praxis provides free legal aid to the most marginalised and socially excluded communities, national minorities (Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian), displaced persons and people who have returned on the basis of readmission agreements. Its work covers the fields of nationality, personal documents, housing, education, healthcare, social protection and employment, as well as the area of sexual and gender-based violence.
